An Unforgettable Experience

During a weekend with volunteers from Kazou Leuven, Dominique came by to give an unforgettable surprise act. The monitors, aged between 15 and 27, were all impressed. After the lecture, they asked many questions, which Dominique answered with pleasure, even hours after the performance. Not only were the 'tricks' incredible, but especially the explanation of how hypnosis and similar tricks influence the subconscious and how you can use or recognize them in daily life - for example as a monitor at a youth camp - was fascinating. It is highly recommended for groups that not only want to be completely blown away, but also want to gain many interesting insights!

Tijdens een weekend met vrijwilligers van Kazou Leuven kwam Dominique langs om een onvergetelijke verrassingsact te geven. De monitoren, tussen de 15 en 27 jaar, waren stuk voor stuk onder de indruk. Na de lezing stelden ze nog veel vragen, die Dominique met plezier beantwoordde, zelfs uren na de voorstelling. Niet alleen de 'trucs' waren ongelooflijk, maar vooral de uitleg over hoe hypnose en dergelijke trucs het onderbewustzijn beïnvloeden en hoe je ze kunt gebruiken of herkennen in het dagelijks leven – bijvoorbeeld als monitor op een jeugdkamp – was fascinerend. Het is een echte aanrader voor groepen die niet alleen volledig van hun stoel willen worden geblazen, maar ook veel interessante inzichten willen opdoen!

Workshop for young people

Dominik came to give a workshop to a small group of socially vulnerable young people who reside in a residential facility. The young people, and supervisors, were very enthusiastic about this workshop and thought it was a very cool experience to be brought under hypnosis. On December 13, The Charlming Thief gave our staff party some more color. It was really nice, our staff was pleasantly surprised and the people who tackled our thief, unfortunately did not know that they had lost their belongings: watches, mobile phones, rings, etc. ... We were lucky enough to have booked "The Charming Thief" for our annual EMEA Regional Meeting in Hamburg and it was an absolute success. A lot of the credit goes to Mr Messiaen.
