Building G100 is the independent end-user platform for individuals engaged in the management, maintenance and servicing of building automation and management systems. Its strength lies in the fact that they are like-minded and want to share knowledge and learn from each other. The annual big Building G100 event took place on 3 October 2019. The event about building automation and management systems for and by end users.

Building G100 wanted to achieve the following with the help of the event app:

A flawless registration process that gives guests a warm welcome. Where no time needs to be wasted on digital worries or long queues.

A relaxed and professional atmosphere within the huge program and the many visitors.

Increasing interaction and collaboration between guests, but also between suppliers and end users.

And all this while retaining a personal touch.

In addition to the excellent personal commitment of Martijn Beckers, the app contributed to the relaxed atmosphere of the event.

Due to the automatic link with an eventregistration tool the 350+ event registrations were smoothly transferred to the app, making it accessible to everyone.

During the event, the app facilitated the connection of 98 participants via chat and another 55 participants via other network features.

Networkapp has developed two new products: The Netwerkplein, which will restart the conversation in the corridors and Virtual Living Rooms where people can talk to each other in a warm, relaxed setting. “We are being put to the test and terribly miss the human need to meet each other in person,” says Margriet de Groot co-founder of Networkapp. We have been so spoiled at a well organized event. No mutual meeting, no connection with the group. Thanks to the use of the corridor, this valuable meeting can now be done digitally. Even if it is not possible to physically bring the whole group together, we can place your guests on the virtual Netwerkplein before the start of a presentation or webinar so that they can get to know them in advance. No more waiting anonymously in front of a screen, but a chat in the corridors. Virtual living rooms And then all those agreements that we now have with each other on screens. Stacked in a screen, everyone tells their own story. “We miss the mutual atmosphere that often determines the outcome of a conversation. We can approach that very well with the virtual living room, ”explains de Groot enthusiastically. Small round table discussions in a homely setting for intervision, preparation, discussion or participation rounds. In this group conversation, everyone simply takes a seat at the table; without downloading additional software, conveniently at the touch of a button. The number of attendees in the 27th International EAES Congress in 2019 that took place in Sevilla, was 1400. There was a great mix of different themes and activities throughout this year’s congress.
