With her progressive approach to sustainability and state-of-the-art design, Oceandiva Nova promises to be a refreshing new chapter for the events industry. Groundbreaking sustainability in style
The Oceandiva Nova’s energy supply is secured by an innovative, CO2-neutral battery system with a capacity of 2.2 megawatts (MW). This capacity not only emphasises the scale of her sustainable ambitions, but also underlines how this advanced technology enables the vessel to operate efficiently and environmentally friendly. Supported by an advanced Power Management System, the batteries ensure optimum energy efficiency. In addition, the vessel will soon have solar panels on the deck, and the use of green electricity on board will further strengthen the sustainable character of the Oceandiva Nova.
An eco-friendly water world
A state-of-the-art PureBlue INNOPACK++ water purification system, known as a Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR), purifies wastewater until it is clean enough to return to nature. This system ensures that all water used, whether from laundry facilities or toilets, meets strict environmental standards. Combined with the use of recyclable materials, this positions the Oceandiva Nova as a pioneer in environmentally friendly event venues. These measures illustrate how Oceandiva is committed to reducing its environmental footprint and integrating sustainability into all aspects of its operations.
A green course for the future.
Oceandiva is taking the lead in sustainable sailing. With the aim of making the entire fleet CO2 neutral and free of fossil fuels, the Oceandiva Nova is leading this green course. The other Oceandiva ships use HVO100 biofuel, derived from 100% certified residual flows, which leads to a significant CO2 reduction of up to 90%. In addition, they further minimize the impact on the environment by using biodegradable oils.
This step is part of Oceandiva's broad strategy to not only make the event industry more sustainable, but also to contribute to a better world. Baanbrekende duurzaamheid in stijl
De energievoorziening van de Oceandiva Nova wordt gewaarborgd door een innovatief, CO2-neutraal batterijsysteem met een capaciteit van 2,2 megawatt (MW). Dit vermogen benadrukt niet alleen de schaal van haar duurzame ambities maar onderstreept ook hoe deze geavanceerde technologie het schip in staat stelt om efficiënt en milieuvriendelijk te opereren. Dit systeem zorgt ervoor dat al het gebruikte water, of het nu afkomstig is van was-faciliteiten of toiletten, voldoet aan strenge milieunormen. In combinatie met het gebruik van recyclebare materialen positioneert dit de Oceandiva Nova als een voortrekker op het gebied van milieuvriendelijke evenementenlocaties. Deze maatregelen zijn illustratief voor hoe Oceandiva zich inzet om de ecologische voetafdruk te verkleinen en duurzaamheid te integreren in alle aspecten van haar operaties.

Oceandiva neemt het voortouw in duurzaam varen. Met het doel om de gehele vloot CO2-neutraal en vrij van fossiele brandstoffen te maken, leidt de Oceandiva Nova deze groene koers. De andere schepen van Oceandiva gebruiken HVO100 biofuel, afkomstig van 100% gecertificeerde reststromen, wat leidt tot een significante CO2-reductie tot wel 90%. Daarnaast minimaliseren ze de impact op het milieu verder door het gebruik van biologisch afbreekbare oliën.
