Cargo Club Antwerp launches 'A night at: Cargo Club': small-scale dinner shows for companies
In recent months, the event sector has shown its most creative and innovative side to be able to organize valuable live events with the necessary social distance. Cargo Club in Antwerp has not been idle during this period. They have created refreshing event concepts that, now that the lockdown has ended, can be put on the market. The Antwerp club is today launching a new concept for small-scale corporate events: A night at: Cargo Club.
A night at: Cargo Club
The new Cargo Club concept is intended for groups of up to 50 people and combines live entertainment with a seated dinner in a sparkling mix. In terms of live show, you can choose from three formulas, each with a different Belgian artist: Magic, Music and Stand-up comedy.
Magic with Nicholas
After the success of his first theater performance 'Echt', Nicholas presents a completely new performance, entitled 'Decipiatur'. Nicholas does magic in its purest form. No bells, no bells, no smoke screens, no false bottoms. Nicholas is grand in his simplicity, unmatched in his craft.
Music with Mathieu & Guillaume
The 'trouba brothers' of the low countries.
Mathieu & Guillaume Engels are two brothers who complement each other perfectly on a vocal level. Mathieu as a passionate lead singer and guitarist, Guillaume as a second voice who also plays harmonica. Both the better Dutch songs and French chansons form the basis of their repertoire with a healthy mix of folk, new generation cabaret and high-quality pop.
Stand-up comedy with Bert Gabriels
Bert Gabriëls is best known for the Canvas program 'Zonde van de broadcasting time'.
In February 2004 Bert started with a comedy act on the open stage in the Engelenbak in Amsterdam. Two months later he was in the final of the AKF Stand-up competition. In May 2004 he won the 123 Comedy Award for emerging talent in Flanders and in June 2004 he won the Radio 2 humor award. At the end of 2004, Bert reached the final of the Culture Comedy Award. In the following years, he bundled his stand-up experience in several full-length shows: 'Deceased Nonsense', 'Pech', 'Druk Druk Druk', 'I can do it', 'Happiness seeker'. His shows are an accumulation of recognizable situation comedy and humorous, critical reflections on the small quirks of man. Recommended.

Cargo Club is located in the Antwerp Schipperskwartier, a stone's throw from the MAS. The club's characterful interior is the ideal backdrop for these dinner shows. The 'A night at: Cargo Club' formula is all-in and combines an aperitif, a three-course menu and a live show of your choice.
Groups of up to 50 people are currently possible; if the rules are relaxed, this number can be increased.

A night at: Cargo Club
Het nieuwe concept van Cargo Club is bedoeld voor groepen tot 50 personen en combineert live entertainment met een seated dinner in een sprankelende mix. Qua liveshow kan gekozen worden uit drie formules met telkens een andere Belgische artiest: Magic, Music en Stand-up comedy.
Magic met Nicholas
Na het succes van zijn eerste theatervoorstelling ‘Echt', komt Nicholas met een volledig nieuwe voorstelling, getiteld 'Decipiatur'. Nicholas goochelt in de meest pure vorm. Geen toeters, geen bellen, geen rookgordijnen, geen dubbele bodems. Nicholas is groots in zijn eenvoud, ongeëvenaard in zijn vak.
Music met Mathieu & Guillaume
De ‘troubabroers’ van de lage landen.
Mathieu & Guillaume Engels zijn twee broers die elkaar op vocaal vlak perfect aanvullen. Mathieu als gedreven leadzanger en gitarist, Guillaume als tweede stem die ook mondharmonica speelt. Zowel het betere Nederlandstalige lied als Franse chansons liggen aan de basis van hun repertoire met een gezonde mix van folk, kleinkunst van de nieuwe generatie en kwalitatieve pop.

Momenteel zijn groepen tot 50 personen mogelijk; als de regels versoepeld worden, kan dit aantal verhoogd worden.
