Our DeRuimte building was created in 2012 and has been converted into a small theater.

It is located in Breda in a former kindergarten building and has several rooms that vary in size. The ToneelRuimte is suitable for performances but also for meetings, education, piling sessions and workshops. The diversity in possibilities of DeRuimte is a reflection of its owners.

DeRuimte radiates its love for culture and education, a quiet workplace, beautiful food and a green living environment. The beautiful sheltered garden gives the feeling of being completely outdoors.

The DeRuimte building, built in 1957, has been completely renovated to the 2024 standard. Modern conveniences alternate with authentic details. The special acoustic ceilings ensure effortless listening and speaking. The original tiled floor in the hallway and the wooden beams in the theater room give a timeless appearance.

The garden is renovated every spring, so that it serves as a wonderful resting place in the summer. Trees and parasols provide enough shade and there is a beautiful view of all the flowers in full bloom. Even in winter it is nice to relax outside under the various tents and terrace chairs with cushions.
