Welcome to Zuidpool, also known as Strandzuid! In the winter months we exchange the tropical atmospheres for the ultimate winter wonderland feeling in the middle of the city. At a surprising location behind the RAI Amsterdam, on the water, you will find the most versatile event location in Amsterdam. The winter atmosphere can be found in the decoration, ambiance and furnishings. Think of a room full of atmospheric lights, fire pits, ski lifts, blankets and fur.

The fact that South Pole is so versatile is partly due to the many multi-functional spaces and the extensive facilities that make tailor-made events possible. Furthermore, our sales team has built up an enormous amount of knowledge by facilitating more than 300 events per year of various sizes. The result of the combination between our experienced team and the carefully designed locations leads to an unforgettable experience at a unique event location in Amsterdam.

South Pole has three locations that can all be combined with other South Pole spaces to expand the capacity.

The first location “ The Mountain House ” is located on the water next to the Restaurant. The space has a warm appearance and the use of a lot of glass creates a perfect connection with the outside.

The second location “ The Winter House ” This location is spacious with a large bar and modular design. The Winter House has a large front terrace and a continuous waterfront terrace.

Our third location “The Ski Hut ” is built for slightly more intimate events. Inside you will experience a typical winter atmosphere with playful elements, a private bar and a warm interior. The furniture has a standard layout with different seating areas, both inside and outside, but can of course be adjusted as desired.

When you think of winter events, Christmas dinners and New Year's drinks can certainly not be missed. There are various catering options, adapted to your wishes. Think, for example, of walking dinners, an extensive sit-down dinner, buffets, small bites, but you can also come to us for breakfast, lunch and BBQs. A BBQ in the winter? Yes, we can transform the outside into a winter BBQ paradise from 40 people.

In the summer, South Pole is transformed into a tropical paradise, called Strandzuid. An oasis of peace, conviviality and summer. So are you interested in a summer event? We are at home in all markets. Here too we have various indoor and outdoor locations available for BBQs, weddings, staff parties, drinks and other events.

Strandzuid/Zuidpool is located between the centrally located RAI Amsterdam and the Beatrixpark. We are easily accessible by car via the A10, public transport with the new North/South line and even by boat via the Amsterdam canals. There is ample parking for all your guests in the Rai parking garages.

Welkom bij Zuidpool, ookwel bekend als Strandzuid! In de wintermaanden ruilen we de tropische sferen om voor het ultieme winterwonderland gevoel midden in de stad. Op een verrassende plek achter de RAI Amsterdam, aan het water, vind je de meest veelzijdige evenement locatie van Amsterdam. De winterse sferen kunt u terugvinden in de decoratie, ambiance en aankleding. Denk aan een ruimtes vol sfeerlichtjes, vuurkorven, skiliftjes, dekentjes en vachtjes.

Dat zuidpool zo veelzijdig is, komt deels door de vele multi-functionele ruimtes en het beschikken over uitgebreide faciliteiten, dat op maat gemaakte events mogelijk maakt. Verder heeft ons sales team een enorme kennis opgebouwd door het mogen faciliteren van meer dan 300 events per jaar van verschillende groottes. Het resultaat van de combinatie tussen ons ervaren team en de zorgvuldig ontworpen locaties leidt tot een onvergetelijke ervaring op een unieke evenementenlocatie in Amsterdam.

Zuidpool kent drie locaties die allemaal gecombineerd kunnen worden met andere Zuidpool ruimtes om de capaciteit uit te breiden.

De eerste locatie “The Mountain House” is gelegen aan het water naast het Restaurant. De ruimte heeft een warme uitstraling en door het gebruik van het vele glas geeft het een perfecte koppeling met buiten.

De tweede locatie “The Winter House” Deze locatie is ruim opgezet met een grote bar en modulaire inrichting. The Winter House heeft aan de voorkant een groot terras en een terras aan de waterkant doorlopend.

Onze derde locatie “The Ski Hut” is gebouwd voor iets intiemere events . Binnen ervaar je een typische wintersfeer met speelse elementen, een eigen bar en een warm interieur. Het meubilair heeft zowel binnen als buiten een standaard indeling met verschillende zithoeken, maar kan natuurlijk naar wens worden aangepast.

Als u denkt aan winterse evenementen, kunnen kerstdiners en nieuwjaarsborrels zeker niet ontbreken. Er zijn verschillende catering mogelijkheden, aangepast op uw wensen. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan walking dinners, een uitgebreid sit-down dinner, buffetten, small bites maar ook voor ontbijt, lunch en BBQ’s kunt u bij ons terecht. Een BBQ in de winter? Ja zeker, vanaf 40 personen toveren we buiten om tot een winters BBQ-paradijs.

In de zomer wordt Zuidpool omgetoverd tot een tropisch paradijs, genaamd Strandzuid. Een oase van rust, gezelligheid en zomer. Dus heeft u interesse in een zomers-event? We zijn van alle markten thuis. Ook hier hebben we verschillende binnen en buiten locaties beschikbaar voor Bbq’s, bruiloften, personeelsfeesten, borrels en andere evenementen.

Strandzuid/Zuidpool ligt tussen de centraal gelegen RAI Amsterdam en het Beatrixpark. Wij zijn goed te bereiken met de auto via de A10, het openbaar vervoer met de nieuwe Noord/Zuidlijn en zelfs met de boot via de Amsterdamse grachten. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor al uw gasten in de parkeergarages van de Rai.
