This room is a perfect marriage between a very daring and current conception of art and architecture and the old glory of yesteryear. The artworks by Luc Tuymans and Lawrence Weiner turn Zaal AthenA into a living art space that simply takes every guest's breath away. Luc Tuymans himself chose the colors of the room. In this environment, every event gets a golden edge. Room AthenA is fully equipped for professional corporate events, public presentations, conferences and study days, performances and parties. The room has a capacity of up to 499 people and is accessible by a lift, so that supply and accessibility are guaranteed. Acoustically, the hall is completely adapted to the latest standards. Our permanent sound system and truss construction make every technical tour de force possible. AthenA is equipped with contemporary furniture. When furnishing the hall, use can be made of 250 upholstered chairs, 12 colorful footstools, 20 high standing tables and a lectern. Adjacent to the hall is a professional kitchen. You can use the special catering options of our regular partners or arrange the catering yourself. Located in the heart of Antwerp, on the Rooseveltplaats, the city is pleasantly present between the walls in the high hall. Founded by Napoleon Bonaparte, the school continues to be a beacon of innovation in the debate on active pluralism and diversity. It is and remains the cradle of free speech, boosted by Paul Van Ostayen. The stone he once threw through the window to demand freedom, mayor De Wever symbolically threw again on 16 May to open Zaal AthenA.
