The light and modern Cobra Museum of Modern Art is located right around the corner from the Stadshart Amstelveen shopping center, opposite the library and the Amstelveense Schouwburg. There are two parking garages within easy reach. The Cobra Museum is a place that offers peace and inspiration. Every day many visitors from home and abroad walk with interest over one of the many exhibitions. This inspiring place is also a very popular place for events; of course because of the special environment and the pleasant building. But also because a lot is possible in the Cobra museum. Like the Cobra movement, we are always open to new plans, creativity and experimentation. Events after closing time and in the hall are often possible and a lot is also possible when the museum is open. A private presentation, a dinner between the works of art, a guided tour as part of your event, a conference with break-out rooms or a trade fair: everything is possible. The Cobra Museum Café can be used for a break, a homemade lunch or cake with coffee and tea or for a drink or reception with delicious freshly prepared catering. In the summer even outside on the terrace. Because we take care of the catering in the museum ourselves. We have our own kitchen and fresh cake is baked daily. The building of the Cobra Museum, designed by Wim Quist, is characterized by an enormous amount of light and space. The museum has large windows at the front and back, several skylights and a round patio in the middle of the building, which provides plenty of daylight in almost all areas. There are two large exhibition rooms, on the ground floor and on the first floor. Both areas are used for meetings. In addition, there is a separate room right next to the entrance on the ground floor that can be closed off from the rest of the museum. There is a Boardroom on the third floor that can also be used separately at any time. When the museum is closed, on Mondays and on other days after 5 p.m., it is often possible to dine in the dining room or to hold presentations. The options differ slightly with each exhibition.

Het lichte en modern vormgegeven Cobra Museum voor Moderne Kunst ligt pal om de hoek van winkelcentrum Stadshart Amstelveen, tegenover de bibliotheek en de Amstelveense Schouwburg. Er zijn twee parkeergarages binnen handbereik. Het Cobra Museum is een plek die rust en inspiratie biedt. Dagelijks wandelen vele bezoekers uit binnen en buitenland met belangstelling over één van de vele tentoonstellingen. Deze inspirerende plek is ook een zeer geliefde plek voor evenementen; natuurlijk vanwege de bijzondere omgeving en het prettige gebouw. Maar ook omdat in het Cobra museum veel kan. Net als de Cobra beweging staan we altijd open voor nieuwe plannen, voor creativiteit en experimenten. Evenementen na sluitingstijd en op zaal zijn vaak mogelijk en ook als het museum geopend is kan er veel. Presentaties, borrels, diners, lezingen en prijsuitreikingen: het kan allemaal in het Cobra Museum. Neem contact met ons op, we ontvangen je hier graag!

Een besloten presentatie, een diner tussen de kunstwerken, een rondleiding als onderdeel van je evenement, een congres met break-out ruimtes of een vakbeurs: het kan allemaal. Het Cobra Museum Café kan worden gebruikt voor een pauze, een huisgemaakte lunch of taartje met koffie en thee of voor een borrel of receptie met overheerlijke vers bereide catering. Het gebouw van het Cobra Museum, ontworpen door Wim Quist, wordt gekenmerkt door een enorme hoeveelheid licht en ruimte. Het museum heeft grote ramen aan de voor en achterkant, verschillende dakramen en een ronde patio in het midden van het gebouw, waardoor in vrijwel alle ruimtes volop daglicht is. Er zijn twee grote expositiezalen, op de begane grond en op de eerste etage. Beide ruimtes worden gebruikt voor bijeenkomsten. Daarnaast is er een aparte zaal direct naast de ingang op de begane grond die afsluitbaar is van de rest van het museum. Er is een Boardroom op de derde etage die ook te allen tijde afzonderlijk kan worden gebruikt. Als het museum gesloten is, op maandag en op de overige dagen na 17.00 kan er in veel gevallen ook op zaal gedineerd worden of kunnen er presentaties worden gehouden. De mogelijkheden verschillen bij elke tentoonstelling enigszins.
