(Junior) Event Manager / Social Media Guru

As an event manager, you are responsible for developing and supporting events. You not only work out quotes numerically, but also think about new concepts and know how to support them strongly visually. In production, you like to roll up your sleeves and take on a coordinating role. Your responsibilities also include writing social media posts and creating newsletters, where smooth and creative writing is essential. Ductape organizes various events: staff parties, team building, customer events, product launches, family days, incentives, private events, etc. Our offices are located in Antwerp on the trendy Eilandje in a renovated warehouse, so a pleasant working environment is also guaranteed!

Job description:

• You develop concepts independently, but you also function well in a team.
• You draw up detailed budgets with visual support.
• You are in contact with customers and suppliers.
• You select the most suitable suppliers per project.
• You manage deadlines and create scripts.
• You support and coordinate the events on production.
• You produce fun social media posts and articles for our newsletters.
• You take the initiative for the further development of Ductape.

• You are proficient in different types of software.
• You have a great sense of responsibility.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. Other languages are a plus.
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You have an affinity with the events sector.
• You are in possession of a driver's license.
• Evening and weekend work doesn't scare you.
• Mastery of Photoshop, Sketchup or similar software is a plus.
• You preferably have completed an event training course or have several years of relevant experience.
