Following in the footsteps of Las Vegas, where the first Sphere debuted with remarkable fanfare and performances by iconic rock band U2, Abu Dhabi has partnered with Sphere Entertainment to create a similar landmark, contributing to the city's ambitious Tourism Strategy 2030.

The Las Vegas Sphere, which opened in September 2023, sets an exciting precedent. Towering at 366 feet and spanning 516 feet in width, it's the largest spherical structure in the world and holds a capacity of 20,000 attendees. The venue boasts a wraparound LED screen of unmatched resolution inside and an exterior lined with 1.2 million LEDs, creating mesmerising visuals across the massive structure.
